Interview

went interview todae. shocked for those who dunno?? hehe. it came unexpectedly... cos i happily updated and posted my resume in jobstreet.. intention was to racky the market condition and see who is employing.. BUT! it just happened that XXX requested to view my resume and pre-qualified me.. thinking that it is an opportunity which i die die cannot miss.. i click OK in the morning... XXX called me in the evening to fix an appt for interview todae...

Dilemna in a way tat the time is not right.. but i cant let this opportunity slip away cos this is my plan 2 years later. im currently in a very comfortable zone and its too comfortable to be true. Nice boss... colleuges.. good env.. what more can i ask for? Hmmm... after my evaluation. i came to a decision, my colleuges encourage me to go for it.. but 1/4 of me seems a lil reluctant bcos im taking my part time degree..

My evaluation:

Career advancement - High profile listed company

increase in salary - after getting my MI and PB.. its not enuf...

increase my market value - going back to pte sector

Their views:

They viewed me as a very optimistic candidate.. but says that im too expensive. hahaha. but i told them my threshold. =) if they cant meet it, there's no reason i should move, since im already happy in my current job. the pulling factor now is purely MONEY. I think they dun really care whether im a degree holder or not... unlike public..  who doesnt want a high paying salary and be part of a high profile co.?

its been sometime since i last blogged..feeling abit moody these daes... maybe very tired and sick of work. some updates

1. I changed my phone from SE T700 to Motorolla V9! nice phone and i really like it.. its sleek and really lady-like. Recently bought a customised HP strap.. heehee.. craved my name in GOLD. think im crazy over wearing gold accessories.

2. Been busy preparing my ROM stuff. Sem 3 timetable is out.. so sad.. every week study. at least 3 days per week. thats very demoralising! Therefore, we have to get ready the stuffs before we get real busy..

Things which we had secured:

a) invitation cards

b)trying ROM gown in July 09

c) Engage PG

d) Booked venue

Things which we have not done:

a) secure JP (very impt!)

b) Plan iteninary (very very impt!)

c) get jie mei to help-out

d) book ROM date online (in June)

Need to meet up Eileen to discuss on gift favours.. buffet menu.. location.. setting..  etc.

Need to inform Darren on the itineary for ROM

Need to arrange for Make up Artiste to go to the venue..

Need to loss weight!

See...... so many things to do! tired but enjoying the process of it.  But juz worried that when sch reopens.. we are unable to cope. Assignments are real headache bcos there muz be 99% concentration.. we have one assignement deaadline right before our ROM date. Damn.

3. Im visiting my ROM site this Sat! looking forward to it.. thereafter, going to darling's Co. Dept Gathering..

4. Work: Change Director. New Boss = New Mgmt Style. Comments: not very good.. My colleuge tendered his resignation. tml going for farewell dinner.

5. Looking forward to visit Andy and Binnie's love nest!!
